Century old Victorian Bed & Breakfast
(recently restored)
4 bedroom Ranch House (w/swimming pool)
Not Available at this time
The magnificent home that is now the La Rosa Bed and Breakfast was once the grand home of Frank Booth Rooke and Roberta Driscoll Rooke. Construction on the home began in the 1890's, and was completed in 1900. After housing the family for 40 years, the home stood unoccupied for nearly 60 years, and time had begun to take its toll. Restoration on the home began in 1998, with the exterior and bottom 2 floors completed by 2006; and when fully completed, the home will boast 7 large bedrooms (most with private baths), 3 floors + a widow's walk (accessible via a hidden staircase), elevator access between the first two floors, and beautiful views of the ranch from the sweeping porches on the first and second floors.
We invite you to come and experience this wonderful piece of history. To learn more about the history of the house and the ranch on which it sits, visit the history page.
This wonderful house was the home of Allen Driscoll Rooke and Jean Rooke. Built in the 1940's, it has 4 large bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths. The formal living and dining rooms are exceptional, but you simply must see the warm family room. A swimming pool in back will help you to stay cool on summer afternoons.
